History Mystery Ghost Walk Tour


Day One: Saturday Oct. 23, 2010

11:30am - 12:00pm
Arrive into Chillicothe

12:00pm - 1:30pm
Lunch at the Old Canal Smokehouse Restaurant. Enjoy delicious smoked beef brisket, pulled pork with your favorite sides. A hometown favorite!

2:00pm - 3:00pm
Hirsch Fruit Farm. Enjoy all the goodies at the Farm such as homemade apple butters, jams, Amish cheeses and more to satisfy any taste along with seasonal pumpkins, gourds and Indian corn to accompany your fall décor.

3:30pm - 4:30pm
Take a scenic drive to Bainbridge and view the splendid colors of fall at the Paint Valley Skyline Drives. Enjoy the Buckskin Loop, Red Bush Loop, Paint Vista Loop and the Pike Lake Loop that makes this a beautiful sight to see.

5:00pm - 6:30pm
Dinner at 17 East Restaurant located in historic downtown Chillicothe. Choose from a variety of down home dinner favorites.

7:00pm - 10:00pm
Take in the Paint Valley Jamboree Show in Bainbridge with a live performance of down home country music and singing live on stage!

10:30pm - Return to Hotel

Day Two: Sunday Oct. 24, 2010

8:00am - 9:00am
Hot breakfast at hotel

9:30am - 11:30am
Tour the restored 1800’s Mansion at the Adena Mansion and Gardens and view the life styles of Ohio’s sixth governor,  Thomas Worthington along with his family traditions. Also, tour the Educational Museum displaying family articles, country store and gift shop.

12:00pm - 1:30pm
Enjoy a delicious Buffet Brunch at the Chillicothe Country Club surrounded in a wooded style setting.

2:00pm - 4:00pm
Take this ghostly historical guided walking tour downtown and brave the unknown mysteries to several of our haunted  location’s along with the history behind each ghostly site. Enjoy this chilling experience!

4:00pm - 5:00pm
Tour the operational restored 1853 Masonic Opera House known as the Majestic Theatre that housed Popular Acts such as Old Bull and Maude Granger, Milton Berle, Laurel and Hardy and John Barry among other favorites.

5:00pm - Depart for home
