Friday Evening
Enjoy overnight accommodations at one of our many Bed and Breakfasts located in historic downtown. May we suggest dining at one of these fine restaurants located in our historic district; Old Canal Smokehouse Restaurant or 17 East Restaurant. Saturday Morning
Start your morning off with a quaint breakfast served at the B&B. Afterwards, visit our quaint gift shops and boutiques located in historic downtown on Water St., Paint Streets and East Main Streets to buy that special something. Take a break from all the shopping and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or cappuccino along with delicious gourmet desserts at one of our café’s located downtown.
Saturday Afternoon
Lunch can be enjoyed at one of these fine eateries located historically downtown; The Dock at Water, Grinders Café or 17 East restaurant. After lunch, pamper yourself with special treatment at The Boulevard Hair & Day Spa (9am-4pm) located on Executive Drive, Western Ave.
Saturday Evening
Dine at one of our fine dining establishments such as, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Tumbleweed , Applebee’s or los Mariachi’s Mexican restaurant located on N. Bridge St. Entertainment Idea’s: Dancing & cocktails at The Dock at Water located on Water St ~or~ enjoy a game of bowling at Shawnee Lanes located off of Bridge St.
Sunday Afternoon
Before heading home, set aside time to tour the Adena Mansion and Gardens. A historical treasure now restored to its original majesty depicting the home & life style of Thomas Worthington with its vast gardens and orchards. Visit the new Museum & Educational Center that structurally makes this a site to remember. Also visit the Pump House Center for the Arts that showcase local and national art and its gift shop.
