
Tecumseh! Ultimate Experience Itinerary
June 11th - September 4th, 2010
DAY ONE
10:00am - Hopewell Culture National Historic Park. Visit this museum & park filled with history & memorabilia of the Hopewell Indians and mounds. Free admission.
11:30am - Lunch at the Old Canal Smokehouse located in the historic downtown district. Delicious smoked beef brisket, BBQ and more!
1:00pm - Ross County Heritage Center. Tour the historical museum filled with antiques (vehicle), civil war memorabilia, toys, railroad diorama, fire engines and much more! Group Rates available.
3:00pm - Check into Hotel
5:00pm - Tecumseh! Backstage Tour prior to the performance. See how they use different stunts and props during the show.
6:00pm - Tecumseh! Terrace Buffet. All your favorite dinner trimmings with fried chicken, mashed potatoes/gravy, bakery rolls and more. Group Rates available.
7:15pm - Shop Tecumseh! Mountain Gallery Gift Shop & Indian Museum. Bring home a souvenir of the performance.
8:00pm - Tecumseh! Outdoor Drama Performance. Experience the ultimate Group rates available.
10:45pm - Return back to Hotel
DAY TWO
9:30am - Adena Mansion and Gardens. Tour this 1800’s historical mansion once the home of Thomas Worthington & family with it’s botanical gardens, educational center and gift shop. Group rate: $7 ea.
11:30am - Catered or boxed Lunch at Adena Mansion and Gardens education center or in the shelter house facility.
1:00pm - Step on Guided Tour with local historian, Kevin Coleman. Group rate: $3.50 ea.
1:30pm - Pump House Center for the Arts. Tour this Victorian Gothic style building displaying various art & sculptures.
2:30pm - Shopping. Browse the quaint shops located in our downtown filled with collectibles, gifts and antiques.
4:00pm - Return Home
