Friday Evening
Enjoy overnight accommodations at the lovely Victoria Manor Bed & Breakfast, located on Western Ave. Chillicothe, Ohio. This lovely manor estate covers 2 acres on a hillside and boasts a spectacular view of historic downtown Chillicothe. May we suggest dining at one of these fine restaurants located in our historic district; Old Canal Smokehouse Restaurant, Mona Lisa Café or 17 East restaurant. Saturday Morning
Start your morning off with a quaint breakfast served at the B&B which can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the gardens and paths that surround the estate or in one of their sitting rooms. After breakfast, visit our quaint shops located in historic downtown on Water St. such as The Cellar Room, Lloyds Sweet Shoppe, Homespun Country just to name a few. Then, head to Paint St. to Ivy’s Home and Garden, House of Design, Chillicothe Paints store, Bob’s Bootery & Creations Sew Clever along with many more shops to visit. Take a break from all the shopping and enjoy a nice coffee or cappuccino at Schlegel’s Coffee House located on N. Paint St.
Saturday Afternoon
Lunch can be enjoyed at one of these fine eateries located historically downtown; The Dock at Water, Grinders Café, Mona Lisa Café or 17 East restaurant. After lunch, pamper yourself with special treatment at The Boulevard Hair & Day Spa (9am-4pm) located on Executive Drive, Western Ave.
Saturday Evening
Start your evening off with a dinner at one of our fine dining establishments such as, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Tumbleweed , Applebee’s or Max & Erma’s restaurants located on N. Bridge St. Entertainment Idea’s: Dancing & cocktails at The Dock at Water located on Water St ~or~ enjoy a game of bowling at Shawnee Lanes located off of Bridge St.
Sunday Morning
After breakfast, take in some of the local attractions with a visit to the Pump House Center for the Arts located in the beautiful Yoctangee Park, The Lucy Hayes Heritage Center or the Ross County Heritage Center.
Sunday Afternoon
Before heading home, set aside time to tour the Adena Mansion and Gardens. A historical treasure now restored to its original majesty depicting the home & life style of Thomas Worthington with its vast gardens and orchards. Visit the new Museum & Educational Center that structurally makes this a site to remember.
